Software Information

Lakewood has developed software to operate on all DOS and Windows based platforms. The LS4 DOS based software operates with all DOS operating systems and will also operate on Microsoft Windows operating systems up to and including Windows 98.

For operating systems newer than Windows 98, Lakewood has developed a windows based software package which provides RS232 communications ( including Windows modems) for all Windows operating systems starting at Windows 95 (SR2). Lakewood's new windows software is downward compatible with all Lakewood dataloggers.

- Uses LS4 format files

- Uses LS4 .DAT files

- Automatically generates Lakewood project files

- Processes data into .PRN files

Sensor Configuration

- Provisions for up to 5th order curve fitting

- Generates specific sensor files

- Generates sensor groups when configuring multiple inputs

- 16 Channel formatting provisions

Equipment Servicing

Lakewood provides a full range of servicing on all its products. Many customers are still using Lakewood equipment which was purchased over 25 years ago. In most cases older equipment can be still serviced and upgraded to provide performance equivalent to Lakewood's latest products. Customers should note that memory batteries on all Lakewood datalogger products should be replaced every 3 to 5 years. It is recommended that memory batteries be Factory replaced. The age of a Lakewood datalogger can be determined generally by the first two digits of its serial number.
