This battery operated pressure recorder is an ideal inline instrument for obtaining water pressure profiles at fire hydrant locations. Its rugged construction ensures maximum security and vandalism protection. The HPR-X recorder can be installed in minutes by removing one of the hydrant caps, installing the unit with the swivel connector, and replacing the hydrant cap on the recorder side. Since this is an inline installation, it does not interfere with the operation of the fire hydrant and provides maximum safety in emergencies.
This recorder can be programmed to record data from once per second to once per day. Field data collection can be done by interchanging HPR-X units, by using a laptop (direct RS-232 connection without opening the case), or by making a telephone line connection. With Lakewoods advanced LS-4 software, graphs can be viewed within seconds and the data can be quickly transferred to other software applications such as Lotus 123, Excel, Quattro, MSWord or Word Perfect.
Recorded data is always protected by a three year memory battery. ULB lithium batteries provide 1 to 5 years of continuous power for HPR-X recorders. |
